Challenges
Solutions
Create animal assets without an illustrator.
- Filling in vector-based artwork in a single color and knocking out hand-drawn text created a unique style for this piece without breaking the bank.
Show historical reference to title.
- By placing prominent flags on the stage as well as a small shadow that serves as a stage spotlight, this piece stays true to its historical reference of a small, traveling circus with a dog and pony. The color palette of primary colors further helps to sell the concept for the color change.
Support the fast pace of the piece.
- Having the background artwork wiggle to help the piece have constant movement.
